Bruins Place Kenny Agostino On Waivers

Will he clear?

Per the Bruins forward Kenny Agostino has been placed on waivers today. Outside of his breakaway goal against the Flyers last Thursday, he didn’t do enough to stand out from a crowded prospect pool at forward. To date, he has appeared in 17 NHL games with 2 goals and 5 points. As I wrote prior to pre-season, he was always a long shot to make the opening roster.

With a one way contract ($875,000) it will be interesting to see if anyone takes a chance on last year’s AHL MVP.
