First Period:
Hey, the Bruins should be amped up for this right? Bruins vs. Canadiens in their home barn? Nope, 1-0 Canadiens 31 seconds in on a shot that deflected off of Chara and in.
Fifth straight game with a goal for Pacioretty, just 31 seconds in

Not to fret though, the Bruins SUPERLINE (TM) of Pastrnak, Marchand and St. Patrice tie it up shortly afterwards on a beautiful sequence.

Second Period:
With that felt like a much scrutinized career under Julien, Ryan Spooner gets some retribution on the scoreboard. And yes, it appears Spooner STILL can score on teams not named the Ottawa Senators.

Third Period:
The Bruins started the 3rd with 48 seconds of PP time due to a Froese penalty late in the 2nd period. They can’t convert. They get another PP 2 and a half minutes in on a De LaRose penalty. This time they don’t disappoint with a Marchand goal off a weak pass from Krug, to Bergy to Marchand who buries it. 3-1 good guys and the Garden is going nuts!
marchand pulls back ahead of Pastrnak for the team lead in goals, scoring his 19th of the season, tapping the rebound into the empty net. 3-1 Bruinshttps://t.co/byaAleL6rX

Froese takes another penalty (tripping) but the Bruins give a halfhearted, sloppy effort and don’t score despite missing an open net at one point. David Krejci scores an empty netter to make it 4-1, assist to David Backes. The rest of the game winds down with some pretty uninspiring effort from both teams.
