The Bruins and the league honored Willie O’Ree for breaking the NHL’s color barrier last week, and Willie-Mania has been going strong in the days since.
The NHL Network reached out to us to let us know they had host/analyst Kevin Weekes film a brief sit-down with O’Ree last week, which I had missed when it aired.
The result was a cool mini-interview with one of the classiest guys in the history of the Bruins franchise.
