While this writer was expecting some form of discipline, I certainly wasn’t expecting five games. His previous history comes into consideration for sure, with multiple suspensions and fines being levied over his career. He is expected to participate in the All Star Game this weekend, so the suspensions will carry out in games at Ottawa, versus Anaheim, versus St. Louis, versus Toronto, and at Detroit.
