Some dreary news for your dreary Boston Monday: the Bruins announced that Torey Krug will miss at least three weeks after injuring his left ankle in Saturday's preseason game.
After 3 weeks, Krug will be reevaluated. No one seems to remember specifically how Krug was injured, but there's reason for concern: the left ankle is the same one Krug broke in the playoffs last spring.
With Krug out and MattGrzelcyk also nursing an injury, we could see the beginning of NHL Vaakamania on Wednesday night.
Here's to a speedy recovery for Krug!
