The Bruins announced this morning that Jeremy Lauzon has been recalled from Providence on an emergency basis.
If you remember, Lauzon was just sent down yesterday to make room for Torey Krug. Now, however, it looks like there may be another injury: per the team, Matt Grzelcyk didn't skate this morning.
Lauzon's emergency recall means he can only play in the event of an injury, so he's an insurance policy in case Grzelcyk can't go tomorrow against Carolina.
Other injured Bruins who aren't skating include Kevan Miller, Charlie McAvoy and Urho Vaakanainen.
SOMEONE SAVE THE DEFENSEMEN.
