Injury updates have arrived from the Bruins, and they’re not good.
According to the team:
- Zdeno Chara suffered an MCL injury the other night in Colorado. He’ll be out at least a month, as he isn’t scheduled to be reevaluated for four weeks. At this point, it seems unlikely that we see him again before Christmas.
- John Moore, whose injury is more of a mystery, apparently has something lower-body and has headed back to Boston to see the team doctors. There’s no timetable for his return.
- Lastly, Patrice Bergeron is headed back to Boston as well, meaning (duh) he’s out tonight. He suffered what looked like a shoulder injury last night when he was taken late into the boards by Radek Faksa. Bergeron finished the game, but was in discomfort the entire time. Bergeron’s injury has been termed “upper body” by the team. There’s no timetable for his return either.
NOT IDEAL.
