The P-Bruins lost to Hartford in overtime in a Thanksgiving Eve match up last Wednesday before traveling to Lehigh Valley and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton for a tough weekend of games. However, the P-Bruins played arguably their best two games over the two-day span to add four points to their record, and they did it with some of their best players currently on recall in Boston.

Saturday, November 24 vs. Lehigh Valley, 6-3 Win:

The Phantoms struck with two goals in the first two minutes of the game, but a goal from Austin Fyten near the end of the first quarter helped the P-Bruins gain some momentum for the middle frame. Jordan Szwarz scored his third of the season less than three minutes into the second period to even the score at two, but the Phantoms scored shortly after to take a 3-2 lead.

Ryan Fitzgerald scored his fifth of the season to tie the game at three with 10:19 left in the second, and Cameron Hughes put the P-Bruins ahead after scoring his seventh of the season. Fyten and Hughes both scored again in the third to help the P-Bruins to a solid 6-3 victory. Dan Vladar made 18 saves on 21 shots.

Sunday, November 25 vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, 4-2 Win:

A strong performance from Zane McIntyre helped the P-Bruins take down the Penguins on Sunday, as the netminder made a season-high 32 saves on 34 shots. The P-Bruins also got Mark McNeill back in the lineup for the first time since October 20.

The P-Bruins received goals from Peter Cehlarik, Ryan Donato, Jakub Zboril, and Fitzgerald. Donato and Fitzgerald each had a goal and an assist.

Looking Ahead:

The P-Bruins will host the Charlotte Checkers on Friday and Sunday and will travel to Bridgeport on Saturday to take on the Sound Tigers.
