As expected, Ryan Donato's time in Providence didn't end up being very long.
The Bruins recalled the forward from Providence this morning. He'll be available for tomorrow's game against the New York Islanders.
Donato has played 10 games for Providence this season, recording 5 goals and 4 assists.
His recall was a regular one (not an emergency recall), so it doesn't appear to be injury related.
However, with Jake DeBrusk apparently hit in the head with a shot at the end of Monday's loss to Toronto, one can't help but wonder if he's going to miss some time.
In any case, hopefully Donato's AHL stint boosted his confidence and has him ready to produce at the NHL level.
