Two bits of news for your Friday morning!
First, a welcome sight:

Charliiiiiiiiie! Welcome back to the ice, Charliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie!
Still no word on what his injury is or how close he is to returning to game action, but it's good to see Charlie McAvoy on the ice again.
Next, the Bruins announced this morning that they've recalled Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson from Providence.
This is not an emergency recall, so it looks like someone is getting the healthy scratch treatment tomorrow.
JFK has four points in nine games for Providence, and has dealt with some minor injuries.
After Thursday night’s 8-5 gongshow against the Canucks, Bruce Cassidy made comments indicating that he has become frustrated with the efforts of certain individuals (whom he did not name), so it’s not surprising to see a bit of a shakeup in the aftermath.
Following a game in which the Bruins repeatedly lost coverage and made disastrous turnovers, bringing a responsible presence like JFK into the mix makes sense. The only unknown is who gets the night off tomorrow against the Maple Leafs. Once we know that, we’ll have an idea of one individual giving Cassidy pause.
Who sits? David Backes? Sean Kuraly? It's a mystery!
