Herald: Nothing coming from the league for Marchand

New, comments

It appears the league agrees it was accidental.

It looks like the league isn't doing much with the latest incident involving Brad Marchand:

Conroy is pretty plugged in, so you can take it pretty much as gospel.

Bruce Cassidy wasn't really in the mood for discussion after the game.

"I expect [the league will look at it] because it’s Brad, but when I looked at the replay, it looked like two guys just turning trying to get the hell out of the way from each other," he said. "But it doesn’t matter, right?"

Marchand, for his part, had this to say:

"I was coming up ice and I think he was coming down the forecheck and we both got caught in the train tracks and we both didn’t know which direction to go, but we just kind of tried to avoid each other," he said. "I think it’s really unfortunate."

I'm surprised the league isn't looking at it, to be honest.

Hopefully Anthony Duclair makes a speedy recovery.
