Ryan Donato’s big year continues!
The Bruins prospect earned an accolade of sorts earlier today:
Ryan Donato, @HarvardMHockey, Matthew Galajda, @CUBigRedHockey and Colton Point, @ColgateMIH have each been selected Finalists Named for League’s Player-of-the-Year Award - https://t.co/82NXsED9bP pic.twitter.com/TkJB6XpYbj

From that link, Donato averaged 0.85 goals per game on the season, and also scored 20 goals in just 19 games. Per EliteProspects.com, Donato finished the regular season with 23G-15A-38PTS totals, prior to today.
That “prior to today” part is important, because today, he went out and recorded a hat trick in Harvard’s 4-2 playoff win over Dartmouth.

Harvard beat Dartmouth in the series, 2 games to 1, after dropping the opener earlier this weekend. A 7-1 win yesterday was followed by today’s 4-2 final, so Harvard will play on.
Congrats to Donato on a big game and on his 100th college point (the first goal).
