Bruins recall Blidh, Postma

New, comments

Come on down to sunny Florida!

NHL: Boston Bruins at Carolina Hurricanes James Guillory-USA TODAY Sports

The other shoe has (kind of) dropped on the injury front, as the Bruins announced that Paul Postma and Anton Blidh have been recalled from Providence.

The recalls are on an emergency basis, meaning they won't count against the post-deadline recall limit.

That also means they can only play in the event of injury.

This obviously speaks poorly of the health of Zdeno Chara, Torey Krug and Jake DeBrusk.

We'll know more after the morning skate in an hour or so.

Blidh, oft-overlooked on the prospect map, has 9G-13A-22PTS totals for Providence this season.
