The Bruins announced tonight that they've signed Ryan Donato to a two-year entry-level contract.
The team said that Donato will report to the Boston Bruins, not the Providence Bruins, and will be eligible to play tomorrow night.
The two-year deal will essentially become a one-year deal once Donato gets in a game, meaning it was probably a carrot the Bruins dangled to get him to sign.
Either way, he makes this roster better.
EDIT (7:34 PM): Apparently he will, in fact, play tomorrow.
Donato camp/#NHLBruins met all afternoon, per source. Ryan will continue as student at Harvard. Expected to be in Boston lineup on Monday. Contract runs thru 18-19 season
