Tuukka Rask is first Bruins goalie to win 30 games five times

He should definitely be trade though

NHL: Boston Bruins at Minnesota Wild Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

You probably didn’t notice (and neither did we) that Tuukka Rask won his 30th game of the year this week in Minnesota.

That turned out to be a statistically significant moment for Rask, as he became the first Bruins netminder to hit the 30 win mark in five seasons. All of those seasons have come consecutively since 2013-14.

The only other goalie to win 30 in four seasons? Tim Thomas. Byron Defoe did it thrice.

Rask already holds a handful of Bruins records, ranking first in saves, shots against, and save percentage.

Next up on the list is the franchise record for wins, currently held by Tiny Thompson at 252. Rask currently sits at 237.

Congrats Tuukka!
