With David Backes suspended, you know the lines are going to look a little different tonight. Per the morning skate info from the Bruins, here’s what we’ll see:
Brad Marchand - Riley Nash - David Pastrnak
Jake DeBrusk - David Krejci - Rick Nash
Danton Heinen - Tommy Wingels - Brian Gionta
Tim Schaller - Noel Acciari - Sean Kuraly
No real shocks there. Rather than call someone up from Providence, the B’s have decided to just put Acciari back in the line-up.
On defense, here’s what to expect:
Zdeno Chara - Brandon Carlo
Torey Krug - Adam McQuaid
Matt Grzelcyk - Kevan Miller
In practice, Nick Holden was up on the first pair rotating in and out, which makes him the likely scratch tonight.
Per Mike Loftus of the Patriot Ledger, Tuukka Rask will get the start.
Running down #NHLBruins announced/projected lineup: Rask starts, Marchand had excused absence from AM skate and will play. As long as mouth is OK from puck in mouth, McQuaid is in, Holden out. Wingels No. 3 C for Backes.
