Round Two has already been a whirlwind for Boston.
A goal was waived off earlier in the game and put Tampa on a power play, and then Tuukka Rask under pressure lost a skate blade, and promptly got scored on as he was both trying to get to the center of the net and also trying to get the Referee’s attention:

Rask subsequently lost his mind, which we know tends to mean he throws stuff. Which meant he tossed the equivalent of a kitchen knife at the referees...and nobody reacted. Hockey is a weird sport.
Regrettably for the team and for Rask himself, the rulebook doesn’t have anything that could govern this particular situation.
.@HockeyGoalieEh pointed out rule 14.1, which says no whistles for the ADJUSTMENT of skates... but thats not really the issue pic.twitter.com/PdXJlDvxFW

Annoying, something that definitely needs to be amended (at least in my opinion), but regardless, the game is now 3-2 at the end of 40.
Here’s hoping the officiating gets better over the last 20.
