The B's and Flames will faceoff overseas.

The Bruins announced this afternoon that they’ll be playing two games far, far from home in the run up to next season: the B’s and Calgary Flames will face each other in two preseason games in China on September 15 and 19, 2018.

The games will be played as part of the 2018 O.R.G. NHL China Games.

It’s not surprising, as the Bruins were one of the first NHL teams to partner with O.R.G. Packaging, and you can still see their ads on the TD Garden boards.

The Bruins will be the away team when they play Calgary on Saturday, September 15 at Shenzen Universade Center in Shenzhen.

They’ll be the home team on Wednesday, September 19 at Cadillac Arena in Beijing.

If you remember, the Bruins have sent players to China on goodwill trips recently. David Pastrnak, Tuukka Rask, Torey Krug, Matt Beleskey and Hal Gill have all made the cross-Pacific flight to represent the black and gold.

In case you’re wondering, Beijing is currently 12 hours ahead of Boston.
