Pastrnak and Krejci will play for Czechs at the IIHF World Championships

New, comments

The tournament is still young, and NHLers are still filtering in. Boston will be bolstering the Czech Republic heavily by sending these two together

The season may be winding down, but the IIHF World Championships will be continuing on! The tourney started on the 4th and has featured some fun matchups so far, and for the Czech Republic, they just got out of a tight shootout victory to find out they’re getting a pair of players from the Boston Bruins; David Krejci and David Pastrnak:

And that’s not all, both of these guys will be playing on the same line together!

Awesome stuff.

Pasta and Krejci have been part of the international Czech team at all different levels, usually whenever possible or when the Team/NHL allows them to, so this oughta be a great opportunity for both players to get some chemistry together and possibly have a long, fruitful tournament!

Good luck to both of them in Copenhagen!
