According to reports, UFA defenseman Nick Holden will be signing a two-year deal with the Vegas Golden Knights, thus ending his short tenure with the Bruins. The 31-year-old was acquired in February to add depth to the blueline, and tallied a goal and four assists in 18 games with the club.

The chances of Holden re-signing with the Bruins were slim, as he had a tough time finding a clear role on the blueline and was not overly impressive during his 18-game stint.
Vegas will pay Holden $4.4 million over the two years, with $2.6 million coming in year one and $1.8 million coming in year two, according to Pierre Lebrun.
