Random Bruins highlight: Carl Soderberg toasts all of Long Island

Carl is the greatest Bruin of all time, and I will not hear arguments to the contrary.

Boston Bruins v Pittsburgh Penguins

It’s summer! We need content, you need a quick read/view. Let’s take a trip down memory lane with a daily dose of Bruins nostalgia.

When: January 27, 2014

What: Carl Soderberg, the Swedish Legend, scores a beauty against the New York Islanders.

Look, to be honest, I could have made this entire series Carl Soderberg highlights. I love Carl Soderberg forever, but I know some of you might have tired of constant Carllights.

Instead, let’s take a look at his best goal, the beauty scored above against the New York Islanders.

Carl rushes down the wing with Swedish speed, turns poor Thomas Hickey into a traffic cone and torches Kevin Poulin with a top-shelf finish.

It was probably the prettiest goal Soderberg scored as a Bruin, and is one I watch every night before I go to sleep.

(Kidding. Maybe.)
