Kuraly played in 75 games for the Bruins last year, compiling six goals and eight assists, primarily as the team’s fourth line center.
The term of the contract certainly indicates the faith that the Bruins have in the Ohio native. Originally acquired from the San Jose Sharks along with a first round pick (Trent Frederic) for Martin Jones, Kuraly may be in for an increased role, perhaps as a third liner.
Welcome back Sean!
