It’s summer! We need content, you need a quick read/view. Let’s take a trip down memory lane with a daily dose of Bruins nostalgia.
When: June 15, 2013
What: Jaromir Jagr rules forever.
CBC did these intros before several games in the playoffs, but this had to be the best one.
David Krejci, like most Czech players his age, grew up loving Jaromir Jagr.
Jaromir Jagr, like most Jaromir Jagrs, grew up loving Jaromir Jagr. PERFECT.
As an aside, David Pastrnak loved David Krejci growing up. If the Bruins had kept Jagr around a bit longer, they could have had the “HERO” line: Pastrnak with Krejci, Krejci with Jagr, and Jagr with Jagr.
This would be one of the brighter highlights in a frustrating Stanley Cup Final for Jagr. It sucks that the Bruins didn’t win that series for a number of reasons, but not giving Jagr another Cup is at the top of the list.
Still, this was hilarious. It was perfectly...Jagr.
