It’s summer! We need content, you need a quick read/view. Let’s take a trip down memory lane with a daily dose of Bruins nostalgia.
When: April 18, 2009
What: Josh Gorges learns that Patrice Bergeron punches with his left hand, not his right.
This series was like a fever dream for Bruins fans. They truly beat the crap out of the Montreal Canadiens, in more ways than one.
They swept the series, outscoring Montreal 17-6. They finished off the sweep on Bell Centre ice, which is always fun.
And then there’s the highlight above: Patrice Bergeron’s first NHL fight. Along with putting the cherry on top of a 5-1 playoff win, this highlight gave us two Jack Edwards gems:
- The shocked “PATRICE BERGERON IS GETTING IN A FIGHT!!????!”
- “CONCUSS THAT!”
Jack Edwards rules. Patrice Bergeron rules. Everything is awesome.
Happy Friday.
