We’re almost there, folks. It’s preseason time!
The Bruins will play a handful of games this preseason, and we’ve got details on how you can follow along.
There are 8 games this preseason, and you should be able to follow almost all of them in some capacity (TV or radio).
Here are the details:
Saturday, September 15
The Bruins will play the Calgary Flames in Shenzhen, China, at 2:30 AM ET. The game will be televised on NHL Network and Sportsnet, as well as broadcast on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
Sunday, September 16
The Bruins will host the Washington Capitals at the Garden at 1 PM. This one will be broadcast on the NHL Network, as well as on NBCS Washington, if you live in the Beltway area.
Wednesday, September 19
Beijing! The Bruins and Flames will face off in China’s capital, this time at a slightly more palatable 7:30 AM ET. This one will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network (hooray, basic cable!) and on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
Saturday, September 22
The Bruins will play the Red Wings in Detroit. Currently, this is the only game with no broadcast plans whatsoever. That may change, as the Wings may broadcast the game on their website or something.
Monday, September 24
The Bruins head to Philly to face the Flyers at 7 PM. There are no local broadcast plans for this one; instead, it will be shown on NBC Sports Philly+.
Wednesday, September 26
Detroit returns the favor and visits the Garden at 7 PM. This one will be shown on NESNPlus and broadcast on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
Saturday, September 29
The preseason finale! The Flyers visit the Garden for a 5 PM tilt. This one will be shown on NESN, NHL Network and broadcast on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
