With the split-squad games coming to an end after today’s second China game, the Bruins announced a number of minor transactions. NHL training camp is coming to an end for a number of guys, with some outright released and some headed elsewhere in the organization.
Released outright
Mark Fayne and Marcel Noebels were both released from their PTOs, effectively ending their time with the organization.
Headed to juniors
Daniel Bukac (Niagara Ice Dogs), Cedric Pare (Rimouski Oceanic) and Kyle Keyser (Oshawa Generals) will all be headed back to the Canadian Hockey League.
Headed to Providence
A whole bunch of guys will be heading down to the AHL: Wiley Sherman, Austin Fyten, Olivier Galipeau, Brett McKenzie, Joel Messner, Tanner Pond and Alex Sakellaropoulos.
Nothing super shocking here. Expect some more cuts relatively soon, possibly after the weekend.
