The Bruins and Flyers played in a preseason tilt down in Philly tonight; while the game was broadcast on 98.5 The Sports Hub, there was no local TV broadcast.
NBC Sports Philly had a broadcast, so we do have some highlights of what finished as a 4-3 Bruins win. The B’s improved to 5-0-1 on the preseason...NOT BAD.
Peter Cehlarik cleaned up on the doorstep to give the Bruins a 1-0 lead in the first.

Check out the vision and the pass from Jeremy Lauzon, who found Chris Wagner all the way up the ice. Wagner finished with a slick move to make it 3-0.
A gift-wrapped Flyers turnover ended up on the stick of Lee Stempniak, who ripped one from close range to make it 4-0.
The Flyers would actually score three goals in the third period to make things close, but the B’s held on for the win.
Notable performances:
- Lee Stempniak had a goal and two assists for a three-point night
- Peter Cehlarik had a goal and an assist
- Daniel Vladar made 34 saves on 37 shots, including 32 of 33 at even strength
The B’s are back at it at home on Wednesday night. See ya then!
