The Lines - Updated 5:30pm:

Buffalo's lines appear to be unchanged.

Players to Watch:

  • Two words: Rasmus. Dahlin. He’s a genuinely transformative talent on defense that we’re all just gonna have to get used to right out of the gate and this will probably be your first exposure to the guy until October 4th. Guys like Casey Mittelstadt and Tage Thompson round out what was an explosive team last night for the Sabres, who won 6-4 over New Jersey.
  • As for the Boston side of things: Ryan Donato had himself a pretty solid game against the pretty clearly overmatched Pittsburgh squad that’s attending the tourney. He had 3 points yesterday with a goal and two assists.
  • Jack Studnicka was part of the group that lit the Baby Pens right the hell up yesterday with a goal.
  • Kyle Keyser did pretty well in net last night, though a late game surge by the Pens saw him surrender a pair of goals. Other than that, real good night for the Coral Springs native.

The Gamethread:

Once again, here. The B’s will be facing a much faster and score-happy team than they did yesterday, so they should be ready for a good challenge.

More hockey! More fun! More streams!
