The Bruins made an injury announcement this morning: Anders Bjork had surgery on his left shoulder, and is out for the remainder of the season.
The official timetable is 5 to 6 months, which brings him to late June, even in the most optimistic scenario.
It's a tough break for Bjork, who saw a promising start to last season derailed by injury as well.
How did he get hurt?
Anders Bjork fell awkwardly on his arm/shoulder after being knocked down vs. Hershey on 12/30. Was back on ice at P-Bruins practice not long after but something wasn't right. Hearing he might take some classes at Notre Dame while rehabbing

Divver added in another Tweet that Bjork might go back to Note Dame for some classes as he heals.
