Bruins blow another third period lead

After David Pastrnak drew a penalty, the Bruins headed to the powerplay early in the first. After some wonderful chances, Torey Krug fed David Pastrnak to get the Bruins on the board.

In the final minute of the period, Charlie McAvoy activated in the offensive zone. With two Flyers behind McAvoy and the next highest Bruins forward, the Flyers took the play the other way, ending in a goal for Claude Giroux.

The Flyers put up 17 shots on goal in the second period, but David Pastrnak would get the Bruins back in the lead with a rebound goal.

In the middle of the third period, John Moore has a shot blocked at the point which led to a breakaway and a penalty shot.

Luckily, Tuukka Rask denied Scott Laughton to preserve the Bruins lead.

A couple of minutes later, Sean Kuraly went to the box for holding the stick. The Flyers capitalized on the opportunity.

With the game tied after regulation, the game headed to overtime. Brad Marchand took a tripping penalty. Travis Sanheim giving the Flyers a 3-2 win.
