In the first period of tonight’s game, David Pastrnak scored after a scramble in front. Mike Babcock, who was very Mad, challenged it and the goal was taken off the board because the play may have been slightly offside sometime in the 5 years before the goal was scored.
Not to be deterred, Pastrnak came back and did this a few minutes later:

Let’s see that again.
What an absurd goal from David Pastrnak. pic.twitter.com/JAIXADRj8V

NOT BAD.
One of the better parts: Pastrnak signaled his own goal. Beautiful.
The goal was the 300th regular season point for Pastrnak, and his 142nd regular season goal. Overall, Pastrnak now has 159 goals (including the playoffs).
That puts him first in his 2014 draft class, 22 goals ahead of the next-closest player, Leon Draisaitl.
