Hopes are high for the Bruins as the 2019 NHL season gets underway. This is the perfect time for you to join our team and cover the Bruins with us.

Stanley Cup of Chowder is hiring writers. We’re assuming that if you’re reading this, you love this team and the community we’ve built here at Stanley Cup of Chowder. If that’s the case, keep reading to find out if this is the perfect opportunity for you.

What do the roles entail?

The writers will be responsible for helping with Bruins coverage (including the potential of credentialed game day coverage in the future), AHL Providence Bruins coverage, and coverage of Bruins prospects in general. These are part-time, remote, contract roles compensated with monthly stipends.

What qualifications should you have?

Our best candidates will:

  • Have a passion for the Bruins and will already be familiar with Stanley Cup of Chowder’s voice and style.
  • Have a solid understanding of hockey and the Bruins.
  • Be able to produce and edit clean copy.
  • Be comfortable working in a remote environment.
  • Previous sportswriting/hockey writing experience is preferred.
