Know Your Enemy:

  • Ottawa is 11-12-1 in 24 games. They are 7th in Division, 14th in Conference
  • Jean-Gabriel Pageau is your leader in points and goals for the Sens, with 19 points, and 13 goals in 24 games.
  • Hotsam Batcho Thomas Chabot shares 14 points with Brady Tkachuk, and Connor Brown
  • Anders Nilsson is apparently the starter for the Sens now! He has a .928% Save-% in 12 games.

Game Preview:

The Bruins went out last night and just mollywhopped the Canadiens to the tune of 8-1. Studnicka got his first NHL point on an assist to Danton Heinen’s final goal. Pasta got a hat trick...It was a lot of fun!

As for the Sens, they’ve been...watchable?

I mean, they’re still objectively not a super-great team on paper, but they have exploded on offense throughout the month of November, and it’s a credit to how DJ Smith has handled this club through their growing pains. Anders Nilsson has shown some real strong performances in net, Tkachuk and Hotsam Batcho look like guys about to explode into genuine NHL stars, and JG Pageau has been on an absolute tear lately. The Sens, however slowly, are returning to that “Pesky” moniker they happened to use not-so-long ago, to the abject horror of the rest of the league that a Melnyk owned team might in fact be capable of winning more than 12 games a year.

...Y’know, if they were consistent. They’re still sub-.500 for a reason. Their defense is trash and they barely control the puck for any longer than they want to.

That said, it should be a great road game with a go...uhh....acceptable atmosphere. Let’s see how the Bruins handle it after such an offense explosion!
