The Bruins announced today that David Backes would be doubtful for tomorrow’s game against Pittsburgh and the next night’s game against Montreal:
"Doing a little better than last night...but I think tomorrow we'll have a better determination."

Backes expected to miss time after collision: https://t.co/HDNmlFJpuo
Backes left Saturday's game in visible distress shortly after the terrifying scene where Scott Sabourin collided head-to-head with him, was knocked unconscious, and was stretchered off. It’s very likely the B’s call up a player from Providence by lunch time tomorrow.
Until we know more, the best we can say is “Get well soon” to Backes, and hope he returns at 100%.
