Game notes
- It’s a new month! The Bruins begin December without a regulation loss at home, which is pretty good. Having said that, now I just jinxed them.
- Montreal has lost 7 games in a row, dating back to the 16th of November. Their last win came on November 15th, when they beat Washington 5-2. 3 of those losses came after regulation, including their latest, a loss in Philadelphia last night.
- Per the Habs’ website, Carey Price will start tonight. He and Keith Kinkaid have combined to be one of Montreal’s bigger problems, as their goaltending has been subpar. Both Price and Kinkaid have GAA’s over 3 and save percentages below 90%. Not great.
- Victor Mete will be out tonight for Montreal.
- No word yet on any lineup alterations for the Bruins. I’d expect Tuukka Rask will get the start in net.
