The Bruins announced this morning that two guys have been sent to Providence: Jack Studnicka and John Moore.
The former isn’t surprising, as the team has been shuffling young forwards in and out of the lineup as guys get healthy.
The Moore news is a little more surprising, however, as it represents a step forward in his return from injury. Moore’s stint in Providence will be as an “LTI conditioning loan,” i.e. a conditioning stint for a guy who’s been out for a while.
Moore will get a handful of games in the AHL to get himself back up to speed before probably rejoining the big club.
Studnicka had good showings in his first NHL go-round, recording his first point in Montreal and generally playing well. He’ll probably be back before too long.
