Report: Bruins are "interested" in Ilya Kovalchuk

Here we go!

Earlier this afternoon, Ilya Kovalchuk officially cleared waivers. He was then given an official termination of his contract, so he is a free agent.

Reportedly, he and his agent will take their time considering their next move, but you won't be surprised to see a team that's supposedly interested.

Granted, this is just one reporter's news, but it's something!

I still think, given the Bruins' current situation at wing, it makes too much sense to not at least kick the tires.

Low risk, high reward. Take the league minimum and see what he can do!
