Game Notes

  • The Islanders saw a three game winning streak come to a crashing halt on Tuesday night, surrendering eight goals at home to the Nashville Predators on 24 shots. The Predators scored seven unanswered from the middle of the second period on.
  • Tuesday’s result marked the first time that the Islanders had lost in regulation when scoring three or more goals (19-1-1).
  • The Bruins enter the contest on a little bit of skid themselves. After beating the Panthers to end a long losing streak, the Bruins started their four game homestand by only collecting one point against the Kings.
