Another pretty AHL week in that the P-B’s played a home-and-home during the week...that got absolutely way out of hand to start.
Wednesday: Providence wins 7-6 against Hershey in crazy, come from behind shootout performance
HEY KIDS, Y’EVER DONE SPEED!?
Providence started this game poorly, giving up three goals in a period before scratching and clawing back throughout the entire contest, with Jakub Lauko and Urho Vaakanainen contributing key goals in getting this absolute madhouse of a game.
Last three games for Vaaks:

The exact kinda game that cleans you out of calories just in time for Turkey Day!
Saturday: Providence Wins 4-1 over Charlotte
After making it clear at the very beginning of this week that they will not be rolling over and dying for anyone, Providence decided to controlling a game for a spell. They even decided to twist the knife of the Charlotte faithful by having Ex-Checker Brendan Woods show up in a big way, as he had two goals for the P-B’s in this one!
Celly hard Woodsy!

Sunday: Providence Blanks Charlotte to the tune of 4-0
Having broken their spirit the day before, Charlotte tried hammering Dan Vladar with shots.
It didn’t work.
In fact, quite a few of the youngs in this game ended up with a point. Brendan Woods continued his fantastic week, Vaakanainen got a short-handed goal, Pavel Shen who had been dealing with injuries throughout the early part of the season finally got on the board, and Studnicka got his 10th of the season on an empty netter! Dan Vladar both got his first career shutout and first star!

A perfect six for six week for the AHL B’s!
Where things stand:
- The P-Bruins are now 14-7-1, and those six points were more than enough to get Providence up to first in the Atlantic Division!
- Jack Studnicka just took the lead in goalscoring for providence with 10, and the lead in points with 20.
- Alex Petrovic once again has the assist lead in Providence, this time with 15 a’s to his name.
- While Maxime Legace has largely shouldered the brunt of starts, this week was all about the work put in by Dan Vladar who is back from injury. He has a .936 SV% in 4 games played.
What’s ahead:
After being on the road, the P-B’s return home to the Dunkin Donuts Center on a homestand that lasts until the 14th, when they have a home-and-home series with Springfield.
- December 6th: Vs. Binghamton Devils
- December 7th: Vs. Utica Comets
- December 8th: Vs. Hartford Wolfpack
