Ah, the joys of another extra-time loss.

Par Lindholm, goalless sine 1979, gets the Bruins on the board in the second with a good net drive and a bit of puck luck. 1-0 Bruins.

Roman Josi, who is good, floats a backhand past Jaroslav Halak, who may have been screened. 1-1 tie in the second.

Patrice Bergeron, who makes his living from that area on the PP, gets the Bruins back ahead off of a great pass from Torey Krug. 2-1 Bruins.

Annnnnd then it went poorly. Up 2-1 heading into the third, the Bruins saw the Predators tie it on a bit of a soft goal by Halak/good bounce for Nashville...

...and then they took the lead on whatever Halak was doing here. 3-2 Nashville.

With the goalie pulled, the Bruins tie it at 3-3 off of a great shot/tip connection between David Pastrnak and Bergeron.

Alas, it was a familiar site at the end: the Bruins lose in overtime when Ryan Ellis benefits from a great pass (but a fortuitous bounce off the ref). 4-3, Nashville wins.

YIKES. The Bruins drop to 2-4-4 in their last 10 games.

Discuss.
