Know Your Enemy:

  • To the surprise of nobody, Jack Eichel is the Sabres leader in everything. Points, goals, you name it. He has 51 points in 37 games.
  • Buffalo’s power play goal magnate is Victor Olofsson, who has 9 in 38 games.
  • Rasmus Dahlin’s playmaking is incredible, and almost all of his points come from assists. he has 19 a’s in 30 games.
  • Linus Ullmark has a .914 SV% in 22 starts. He’ll likely be your starter.

Game Preview:

Happy Holidays! We got you a home and home against the Sabres!

...what do you mean you don’t want to go to Buffalo in December?

Okay, so the B’s managed to dominate the Caps on the scoreboard in spite of literally everything else happening that prolonged fistfight disguised as a hockey game, and are slowly righting their December that could be best described as...forgettable. And wouldn’t you know it, the Sabres are in the same boat; they’re at .500 over the entire month, and the team that shows up could either be world-beaters or incapable of overcoming a better-than-normal-but-still-pretty-bad-Ottawa. Given that both teams are trying to re-establish themselves after the break, this should be an absolute blast of a night.

Welcome back, Bruins hockey!
