The Bruins announced this morning that defenseman Torey Krug has been placed on injured reserve with an upper-body injury.
Krug was injured in the Bruins’ win over the Washington Capitals on Monday night, presumably on this bit of contact from Tom Wilson:

It doesn’t look like there was major head contact, but there could be a shoulder issue with the angle at which the hit occurred.
Regardless, Krug is out for a bit, which isn’t ideal. Steven Kampfer has been recalled from Providence in Krug’s place.
