Game notes

  • It's kind of odd how fast the Blackhawks have fallen. It seems like they were challenging for a Cup yesterday, then today they're in last place. It's early, and sure, teams can make runs, but they're stuck with an aging roster and not much cap space, soooo...
  • As you can see above, it's pretty much Patrick Kane and everyone else now. Alex DeBrincat is having a quiet year, as is Jonathan Toews. The lack of scoring is certainly contributing to Chicago's struggles.
  • For the Bruins, we'll see if they make any lineup changes tonight. John Moore may draw back in, possibly for Connor Clifton.
  • No word yet on Patrice Bergeron's availability, but my guess would be he's still out.

See ya tonight!
