And with that, the depth has a new guy. The Boston Bruins have traded for Charlie Coyle.
Not official but hearing the trade is Coyle to BOS in exchange for Ryan Donato and a fifth-round pick. Details to come.

Coyle has 10 goals, 18 assists, and 28 points in 60 games with Minnesota so far this year. He has been all over the lineup for the Wild but primarily in their middle/top six. In exchange, Boston’s 5th round pick is now a Wild pick, and the Bruins send Ryan Donato the other way.
Coyle is not necessarily a rental, as he’s under contract next season on the same $3.2m AAV contract.
Here is his player isolate. In general? Pretty solid 5v5 guy:

One would have to imagine Coyle’s probably going to pick up a new number, as 3 is Lionel Hitchman’s retired number.
Welcome Charlie Coyle to Boston!
