The Bruins have decided to send veteran forward Lee Stempniak back on his way to Providence:

Stempniak’s tenure in Boston was...brief. Let’s go with that. Two games, just under eight minutes both nights, 2 hits, and no points. His tenure was so uninvolved and so nondescript that Getty and USA Today, the two sources for which we get all our photos for, Getty especially who loves taking individual photos of players, couldn’t summon an image of Stempniak wearing 18 as he’s been for the past couple of days.
Regardless of how this experiment went, Stempniak did pretty well in Providence while he was there, so we wish him all the luck in the world in the final push to the Calder Cup!
