The magical roster wheel keeps spinning!
The Bruins announced today that forward Paul Carey and defenseman Connor Clifton have been recalled from Providence. Nothing has been made official yet, but the assumption is both recalls were made on an emergency basis.
EDIT (4:36 PM): It’s officially on an emergency basis now.
Plenty of updates per Bruce Cassidy:

Torey Krug is day to day, upper body. “Not feeling great today,” will not play tomorrow.
Paul Carey and Connor Clifton will be recalled from Providence. Peter Cehlarik heading down.
The B’s acquired Carey in a trade from Ottawa earlier this year. This will be his first NHL appearance with the Bruins.
Since arriving in Providence, the former Boston College Eagle has been excellent. He has 14 goals and 6 assists in 21 games. NOT BAD.
Clifton, you’ll remember, played for the Bruins earlier this season. He skated in 10 games in November/December, with his last game action coming Dec. 4 against Florida.
With Torey Krug nursing an injury and Peter Cehlarik sent down, it’s pretty easy to see where each of these guys will slot in.
Are you looking forward to seeing what these two have, or would you prefer to see other recalls?
