Bruins given third-best odds of winning the Stanley Cup

It’s betting season, folks!

BetOnline sent us their latest odds for the upcoming Stanley Cup playoffs, and Las Vegas is apparently feeling pretty good about the Bruins.

Before we go on, let’s get this out of the way: these are for fun. They don’t mean anything. They don’t guarantee anything. It’s just for fun. I’m talking to you, Facebook commenter.

Anyways, here’s what we have from BetOnline:

  1. Tampa Bay Lightning - 11/4
  2. Calgary Flames - 8/1
  3. Boston Bruins - 10/1

NOT BAD.

It’s worth noting that there are 3 other teams tied with the Bruins at 10/1: the San Jose Sharks, the Washington Capitals and the Winnipeg Jets.

The Bruins saw their odds improve slightly since last time BetOnline did the odds, going from 12/1 to 10/1.

Toronto, meanwhile, was listed at 9/1 last time the odds were published; this time, the Leafs fell to 20/1.
