Know Your Enemy:

  • Matt Duchene is good at everything scoring wise. Leads the Jackets in goals, assists, and points. Don’t let him get open.
  • Sergei Bobrovsky! He’s your starter for Columbus.

Game Preview:

A lot of tonight’s game hinges quite hard on whether or not David Krejci is physically well enough to play. Otherwise, the Bruins did a lot of good things in Game 1 in order to make this series start on a high note.

...They also made sure there were some minor quibbles here or there to ensure that Game 2 could be a point of consternation; namely...the possible loss of David Krejci no thanks to Riley Nash being mad, but also the fact that while Boston had control for a good portion of Game 1, the very few times they lapsed in judgement or in pressure, Columbus took full advantage. A full 60 minute effort will, if everything plays out somewhat similar to how it did on Thursday, be instrumental to getting the series on it’s way to Ohio with a 2-0 series lead.

It’s primed to be an absolutely fantastic game, there’s bad blood on both sides now (some for better reasons than others), and Columbus is going to do everything in their power and then some to get this series even at 1. We’ll see what happens at 8 tonight.

Go B’s!
