Know Your Enemy:

  • Nikita Kucherov stays at a mind-bending pace for the Bolts, with 126 points in 81 games.
  • Steven Stamkos is your leading goalscorer for Tampa, with 44 in 81 games
  • Brayden Point is a power play weapon for the Lightning, with 20 goals scored on the man-advantage.
  • Andrei Vasilevskiy is the starter with over 50+ games played and .925 SV%, but I would be stunned if he played over Louis Domingue. Domingue has 26 games under his belt, and a .908 SV%

Game Preview:

The Lightning are good and have shown to be good even with key members of their team out. But the Bruins? The Bruins have shown that they can hang. Whatever happens will have to be the result of a full 60 minute effort by the B’s, as their last game had them essentially cede their final 20 to the Bolts and...well...yeah.

If the B’s can hold it together for the full three periods? They could really show the Bolts a thing or two!...Assuming they don’t rest anybody, of course.

But, since this game matters about as much as a hill of beans so I figure I might speak some truth to you:

This has been a crazy year, even with the fact that since Bruce Cassidy has taken over as head coach of the Bruins, it seems like it’s been nothing but crazy years. And of all the places you could go to talk about this team, get mad over/praise the games rookies and veterans alike, you came here. And keep coming here! Because you like the site, the content, the community, whatever it is, you keep coming here. And because of that, on behalf of the other editors, Dan; the man in charge, and our writing staff who work their butts off day in and day out to bring you stuff to think about and discuss...We humbly thank you for coming on this ride through the 2018-19 regular season with us, and we hope you’re ready for some fantastic postseason action and postseason content.
