It's been about 84 days, but we finally know who the Bruins will play in the Stanley Cup Final: the St. Louis Blues!
The Blues eliminated the San Jose Sharks last night, winning Game 6 by a score of 5-1 and taking the series 4 games to 2.
That sets up a rematch of the 1970 Stanley Cup Final, when Bobby Orr won the Cup with one of the most famous goals in hockey history.
The Bruins were 1-0-1 against the Blues this season. They beat St. Louis at home, 5-2, back on January 17th.
They lost to the Blues in a shootout in St. Louis during that epic point streak back in February.
So here we go! Plenty of storylines: David Backes vs. his old team. Jordan Binnington vs. the organization he (kind of) called home for a season.
It's gonna be fun, just like the last few times Boston teams have played St. Louis teams in championship series...
